Supreme Head of C&S Unification Church of Nigeria, Prophet Solomon Adegboyega Alao, has urged President Bola Tinubu to be more proactive in the fight against insecurity and prevent a spread to the Southwest region.

Addressing journalists ahead of the 2025 Annual General Conference, he advised the President to put tough legislation in place to avert vices. He demanded that the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu, should be granted a presidential pardon for peace to reign in the land.

The cleric implored the presidency to fight corruption, reduce the cost of governance, boost food security, and engage religious leaders in implementing government policies and other programmes at the grassroots.

He said the ministry’s January 30 to February 2 event is themed, ‘Preparing the church for the set time’. Founder of Love of Christ Generation Church, Rev Mother Esther Ajayi, lauded Prophet Alao for divine guidance. She thanked God for the grace while affirming that so much had been done in the area of evangelism.
