Jimi-AgbajeTHE governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the April 11 election in Lagos State, Mr. Jimi Agbaje, has congratulated president-elect, General Buhari. In a statement posted on his Facebook page Wednesday afternoon, Agbaje said President Goodluck Jonathan has shown leadership by putting the interest of the country first.

“His commitment to a credible, free and fair election and ensuring a violence-free post-election is commendable,” Agbaje noted.

“Today, whether you are PDP, APC, KOWA, APGA or ACPN – whatever your political affiliation – we can all hold our heads high and be proud of our country and budding democracy, which is definitely here to stay.

“As for the upcoming gubernatorial elections in Lagos, our work doesn’t end here. The people’s clamour for change that has swept the nation continues. Next week Saturday, it will be our turn. This will not come easy by any stretch of the imagination.

“Although I’ve always considered ourselves as the underdogs in this race, we know that we have a pretty good chance if only we all put our hands on deck to ensure we see this through.

Agbaje has no capacity of what it takes to govern Lagos. APC have not failed us in lagos, we have no reason for change

You don’t climb mountains without a team, you don’t climb mountains without being fit, you don’t climb mountains without being prepared and you don’t climb mountains without balancing the risks and rewards. And you never climb a mountain on accident – APC 4 Lagos. LAGOS 4 APC

Lagos will definitely vote out Apc and free Lagos of Tinubu. Let him continue at d centre. We need real time development in Lagos and a conducive environment for businesses to thrive. Just like Nigeria, Lagos needs to try another hand after 16yrs of mortgaging Lagos to Tinubu. Since I relocated back to my home state Adamawa in 1997, I have left my factory in Lagos running because i never wanted to shut it down and throw my staff into the job market. But this decision has come with a huge cost due to Lagos state multi taxation. Btw 1999 to date, I ve remitted over 77M naira to lagos state coffers for al sorts of taxes yet the road to my factory is being maintained by me.My Adamawa branch is the one sustaining Lagos office now. I hv made up my mind that if this government continue beyond May 29th, I ll shut down the Lagos factory. Currently we have about 19 core staff and 27 contract staff in our Lagos office. These people will inevitably be thrown into the job market. It is a painful decision for me..

It will be grossly unfair for anyone to say that APC has failed Lagos. We all know how chaotic Lagos was in the past at lease in terms of aesthetics, transportation and orderliness. Nigerians would rather not pay taxes but everything good comes with a price. The feeder road leading to my home is in bad shape but the major road is in top form. Development does takes time and Governor Fashola has not rested for one moment. It takes ingenuity to govern a state as big and as complicated as Lagos and this was demonstrated in the way he handled the Ebola scourge. Why do we have such short memories? Lagos would have been another Liberia but for his swift and committed response. We owe him and our dedicated health professionals a debt of gratitude for saving millions of lives! Fashola has transformed Lagos into a city we can be proud to showcase to the world, except for some areas and it is still work in progress. People must also realize that the APC has been in opposition right from the beginning of this democracy and would therefore not get all the resources it deserves from the centre. This is the first time it is offered the opportunity of being on the same side as the ruling party and on hands must be on deck to ensure that this is realized. This is not about Tinubu, but the truth of the matter is that love him or hate him, you must acknowledge him as one of the greatest political strategists of our times and his name will surely be listed as one of the great men who returned power to the people, actualized democracy and returned political relevance to his people. In case you’re wondering, I’m Igbo and not Yoruba, but I’m not one given to shallow sentiments. I pray my beloved people would have learned one or two lessons from the just concluded presidential and NASS elections where my action Governor Obiano entered into an alliance with the PDP to adopt their presidential candidate without extracting a water tight commitment from them to keep the senate seats. Now he’s crying wolf when it’s already too late. I only pray that in his own interest he wins majority of the seats in next week’s state assembly elections or he will suddenly find himself unable to continue with all the great projects he has so admirably embarked on in Anambra State, and if that happens, APGA may very well be relegated to the dustbin of history come 2019 elections. My final submission is that APC should be returned in Lagos State because we do not all need a soothsayer to tell us that whatever mistakes were made by the APC will be corrected this time around or they will be booted out like the PDP and the mandate handed over to another party just as has been done to the PDP.

Lagos state needs that change. Change has already started. It’s not going to be by any means easy but Lagos state needs a change. What will determine this is a fair and credible election next neek Saturday. There is never a fair and credible election that is the snag.

I met a white Africaan Prof of Physics at the University of Pretoria, South Africa sometimes in 2014. The Professor just arrived from Nigeria after attending an International Conference at the University of Lagos. He told me during our discussion that he noticed that Lagos looked better more beautiful than what Lagos looked like when he went to University of Lagos for an international conference ten years ago. I was very proud as a Nigeria to hear that positive remarks from a Foreign Professor on the good work of APC Governor Babatunde Fashola in Lagos State. Continuity and change for better is what Lagos need and not PDP retrogressive continuity. Agbajemycin is a fake drug because Agbajemycin failed NAFDAC test and therefore has no NAFDAC number. Fake drug damages the human body system and eventually lead to mortality increase. AMBODMYCIN and APCMYCIN are the change that are needed for positive and change for better in Lagos and PNigeria as attested to by the overwhelming vote for BuhariOsinbajomycin as president and Vice President elects.
Vote APCMYCIN to cure Nigeria insecurity, Corruption , unemployment and failed socioinfrastructure development in all the States in Nigeria.
