Cleric cautions Christians against sin, impunity

The President, God’s Kingdom Society (GKS) Brother Felix Ekundayo Adedokun has urged Christians to eschew sin and impunity; instead they should be serious with the things of God.
In his message during the Christian Feast of Tabernacles in Warri, Delta State, Adedokun warned against joining the bandwagon of those who commit sins and engage in impunity.
“Even if the ungodly appear to be prospering, it is only for a short time. We should maintain our stand for truth and righteousness.” He added that all those who have been called to serve God in his holy organisation are to be serious lest they suffer dire consequences.’ To the cleric, judgment and purgation are much more necessary in this age because the last days are around.
Specifically, he stated this is a time when the sins or evil among men will rise to unprecedented levels with false prophets rising to deceive many. Quoting scriptures, he disclosed that some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrine of devils, speaking lies in hypocrisy and having their conscience seared with a hot iron.
Those entrusted with the administration of kingdom in this age, he suggested must work hard to maintain their stand against the devil and his hosts. The true church, he insisted, must warn, condemn and expose those given to sin:
Saying the true church will oppose works of the flesh which include, adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envying, and murder, he stated it must be made clear that those who indulge in such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
In conclusion, he assured those who do the righteousness of God and remain steadfast therein in his true organisation will have life but those who refuse and rebel or relapse into sin will be cast out and will not have life.
