The Planter of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide, Adamimogo Prayer City, Lagos, Prophet Sam Olu Alo, has empowered hundreds of youths and unemployed graduates with vocational skills and start-up capital.
The empowerment was part of a month-long fasting and prayer programme, tagged “Sure Mercy of David”, held at Jesus City along Lekki–Epe Expressway, Lagos. Now in its eighth edition, the annual programme caters to both the spiritual and economic needs of young Nigerians, with over 5,000 beneficiaries recorded each year.
Speaking with journalists, Prophet Olu Alo said participants were trained in trades such as tailoring, welding, and mobile phone repairs, and provided with start-up kits and funds to launch their businesses. He noted that artisans without the means to begin their work also benefitted.
The cleric urged graduates to combine their university degrees with vocational skills to become job creators rather than job seekers, and called on wealthy Nigerians to invest in youth empowerment.
Some participants praised the Prophet’s philanthropic efforts. One beneficiary, Oladokun Oyekunle, recounted how he received automatic employment at the church’s private radio station in Ado-Ekiti during the programme.
“This is a miracle for me. I had nothing to sustain myself, but the Prophet offered me a job on the spot. I have followed his work since 2019 and never imagined I would one day benefit directly from his generosity,” Oyekunle said.
Prophet Olu Alo also urged Nigerians to remain patriotic, avoid acts that threaten national peace, and prioritise credibility in the 2027 general elections.
