The Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo has affirmed Senator Ademola Adeleke as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the July 16 governorship election in Osun State.

A PDP governorship aspirant Dotun Babayemi contested Adeleke’s candidacy, asking the court to recognise him as the party’s candidate.

But Justice Nathaniel Emmanuel recognised the PDP primary governorship election that produced Adeleke as the candidate.
