As a technical project manager and scrum master, Chukwurah was involved in project coordination of Data privacy and Access Management feature — creating VNF, creating RI, updating VLAN 200 to 300, creating and testing connections in IBX location. Deliverables management for SmartKeys’ System Integration Environment (DEV, SIT, UAT, PROD) for both procurement, setup, racking, powering, and configuration of MX480 routers and servers.
He implemented a new ticketing system, resulting in a 30 per cent reduction in response time and a 20 per cent increase in customer satisfaction, while tracking program progress, he identified and raised risks to cross functional managers, including senior management and executives.
As a Scrum master, he planned, monitored and deployed various Microservices including provisioning VMs, deploy on K8s, enabling PG Bouncer, TLS encryption, whitelisting Ips. He was involved in releasing management and Vendor management for Equinix’s first Software as a Service product (SaaS), improved team cohesion by facilitating scrum ceremony between all stakeholders, tracking sprints and product backlogs with JIRA and Confluence.
Chukwurah has continued to provide professional technical support to stakeholders and educate them on ways to properly use modern day tools and software. He coordinates with senior project managers to present timely and detailed updates on status of different projects to stakeholders using the most effective presentation tools.
He has also served in a capacity as a Software Engineer, where he helped to gather requirements from project stakeholders, resulting in a well-defined project objective. Having started out as an I.T technician and system administrator, he was involved in Supporting all AV troubleshooting, including video conferencing and audio conferencing room systems, projectors, digital screens, and other related equipment.
He managed the network infrastructure overhaul for a mid-sized company, boosting overall network performance by 60 per cent and supporting a 25 per cent increase in staff productivity. And played a key role in the planning and execution of a new IT project that automated manual processes, resulting in a 40 per cent reduction in process time and a 20 per cent increase in departmental efficiency.
Similarly, Chukwurah has helped to develop project documentations and charter and implemented projects from development through to production. He operates directly with designers to understand and gather product requirements and perform extensive user experience research.
