Dexa-Medica partners FRSC on safer roads in Sokoto

Dexa-Medica, a leading pharmaceutical company and producer of Boska paracetamol brand, Boska, has partnered with the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) to enhance safety standards of Okada riders in Sokoto.
The partnership was unveiled in a grand programme inaugurated by the FRSC Sector Commander, Hassan Maikano.The programme comes as part of the FRSC initiative, which seeks to reduce accidents and improve safety on the roads, particularly during the ember months when road traffic typically increases.
As an integral component of this initiative, Boska has generously donated 1,000 helmets, essential drugs, and shirts to Okada riders in Sokoto.
Maikano, who stressed the importance of elevating safety standards and reducing accident occurrence, especially during the ember months, said the collaboration with Boska signifies a significant step toward achieving the objectives.
The FRSC Sector Commander said the helmets provided by Boska were designed to offer Okada riders effective protection in the event of a road accident, thereby underscoring the commitment to road safety.
The Brand Manager, Boska Nigeria, Nnamdi Ezeani, in his response, extended gratitude to the FRSC for granting the company the opportunity to contribute to the noble cause. He said the primary goal of the initiative is to ensure the safety and well-being of motorcycle riders.
According to him, the donation of helmets and other essentials is intended to empower Okada riders to enable them to carry out their businesses with confidence and peace of mind.
