President of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission, Jean-Claude Kassi Brou, will today, present its report on the state of the community.

He is to present the report at the 2021 First Ordinary Session of the Fifth Legislature of the Community’s Parliament.

He is to conform pursuant to Article 32 of the Supplementary Act, enhancing the powers of parliament.

Earlier, Chairman of ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government and President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, stressed the importance of peace, security and stability to the development of the region and sustenance of democratic institutions.
