Meanwhile, the mandatory installation rites being undertaking in seclusion by the Ooni –elect, Prince Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi would peak in Obatala Shrine.

A source said yesterday that, as part of the tutelage for kingship and other traditional rites to be performed in Ilofi by the new Ooni is a five-day traditional worship of Obatala that must be held by Ogunwusi before the end of the 21 days in seclusion.

Obatala is a goddess of the land being worshipped by adherents for peace, progress and bountiful harvest of farm produce

It could not be confirmed yesterday whether the five days would be between the 21 days he would spend in Ilofi, or after, as only members of Isoro deity could comment on it.
