The Abia State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Ikechi Emenike, has unveiled former Chairman of Ohafia Local Council, Chief Uche Ogboso, as the Director General (DG) of his Campaign Organisation.
While unveiling the campaign DG on Sunday in his Umuahia country home, Emenike assured he would displace the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) government in the state.
The APC governorship candidate, who decried deplorable state of infrastructure in the state, accused PDP-led administration of underdeveloping Abia and enjoined all progressive Abians to join hands with him to salvage the state from “the hands of locusts.”
He said that Abians are fed up with PDP and are yearning for change, which, according to him, will be offered by the APC.
He said: “There is no going back until we get to the government house and rescue this state from bad governance.”
