Empathy Door Aid Project: Jennifer Okorie Foundation distribute food hampers in Lagos

The Jennifer Okorie Foundation recently launched the Empathy Door Aid Project, a heartfelt community outreach initiative aimed at providing crucial support to families in need. Taking place in the Ijora community of Lagos, the foundation executed door-to-door visits, resulting in the successful distribution of more than 500 food hampers to residents throughout the area.

The initiative resonated strongly with the community, as recipients expressed overwhelming gratitude and appreciation for the much-needed assistance. Each hamper contained essential food items, offering significant relief to families grappling with economic challenges.

Miss Jennifer Okorie, the founder of the NGO, addressed the press following the event, stating, “Our team is elated to have made a positive impact on the lives of community members, and we eagerly anticipate the continuation of our efforts to support those in need.”

In light of the pressing challenges, particularly the escalating food expenses affecting many Nigerian families, the organisation is unwavering in its commitment to sustaining this project. Recognizing the ongoing need for support within communities, the foundation has pledged to conduct similar outreach activities on a quarterly basis.

Miss Okorie emphasized, “By the grace of God, we are determined to provide ongoing assistance to those in need, ensuring that families can access essential food items despite economic constraints. This commitment reflects our dedication to serving and uplifting our community members during these challenging times.”

Also present at the event includes Nigerian top model and Ambassador of the foundation Iroegbulam Chidubem Chris and other members.

The Jennifer Okorie Foundation believes that through collective efforts and sustained support, a meaningful difference can be made in the lives of those facing hardships. The foundation looks forward to continuing this journey of compassion and assistance, standing in solidarity with fellow Nigerians.
