Enugu former First Lady dies at 47

WIFE of the former Governor of Enugu state, Mrs. Nnenna Agnes Nnamani has passed on.

She died at the age of 47, on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Orlando, Florida, United States following complications from sickle cell disease and cerebral aneurysm.

A statement made available to The Guardian Sunday evening in Enugu by the former Governor Chimaroke Nnamani’s family said that a date was yet to be fixed for her burial.

The statement signed by Nnamani’s Media Consultant, Dan Nwomeh said: “Former Enugu first lady passes on. Mr. Chimaroke Nnamani, on behalf of the Nwankwo Anike Nnamani family of Amaiyi Amakpu Agbani in Nkanu West Council Area of Enugu State has announced the passing of its mother and former first lady of Enugu State, Mrs. Nnenna Agnes Nnamani. She was aged 47.

Her premature death occurred in the evening of Friday, 4th September 2015, in Orlando, Florida, United States, following complications from sickle cell disease and cerebral aneurysm.
