Family, party members eulogise late PDP scribe, Dosunmu-Shodipe

Family and party members of Muiz Dosunmu-Shodipe, the late Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Lagos State, on Friday eulogised the deceased outstanding virtues of bravery and love for the nation.

They all poured encomiums on late Dosunmu-Shodipe at the 8th day prayers held in his honour in Aguda, Surulere,
Lagos.

Dosunmu-Shodipe died on July 28 in Lagos and was buried on July 30. A representative of the family, Prince Uthman Shodipe-Dosunmu, described the deceased as “a wonderful, loving soul imbued with the natural instinct of gregarious largeness”.

His eldest son, Mr Adewole Shodipe-Dosunmu, said that his late father would be remembered forever as a perfect gentlemen.

“He will be remembered as a good father and as a father for all. He was a perfect man even in his imperfections. My father is a hero.

“I pray God uplift me to surpass all of his achievements,” he said.

Speaking, Mr Adams Taofik, a representative of the PDP, said that late Dosunmu-Shodipe lived his life working for a united PDP that could take over leadership in the state.

“He was a father to us, a true leader. His death is a great loss to Lagos PDP.

“The party will remember him as a brave personality and his effort to make the party one so as to take over Lagos will not be in vain.

“That was his dream and we will love to help fulfill that dream to the fullest come 2023 in Lagos,” he said. Other sympathisers similarly eulogised the deceased for his love for the people.
