The Federal University of Health Science Otukpo (FUHSO) has suspended its Vice Chancellor, Prof Innocent Ujah from office.

A statement by Coordinator, Information, Publication and Public Relations, James Onogwu, said Prof Ediga Bede Agbo had been appointed as acting Vice Chancellor of the institution.

It reads: “Prof. Ediga Agbo emerged acting Vice Chancellor of the university during the special meeting of the Governing Council held on October 17, 2024, and headed by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council of FUHSO, Engr Ohieku Muhammed Salami.

“The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council and members, earlier, during the meeting suspended the pioneer Vice Chancellor, Prof Innocent Ujah, for alleged gross misconduct and wilful disregard to its authority.”
