Firm renovates Zone 2 Police Medical Centre

Haven Homes, the lifestyle property developer, has handed over a fully refurbished and equipped Medical Centre to the Nigerian Police Force, Zone 2 Command, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts.

Located at Onikan under Zone 2, which covers Lagos and Ogun States, the facility was commissioned by Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Fayoade Adegoke, who received it on behalf of the Command. He was joined by Deputy Commissioner of Police in Lagos, DCP Bola Ojugbile; the Resident Doctor, Inspector Emmanuel Ogboji; and other officers.

Representing Haven Homes’ Chief Executive Officer, Tayo Sonuga, the Managing Director, Mrs Ufuoma Ilesanmi, officially handed over the upgraded facility alongside Project Manager, John Dike, and Marketing Manager, Firas Jaber.

The upgrade is aimed at improving the wellbeing of officers, providing timely healthcare for emergencies, and preventing complications during duty.

In a statement, the company said: “At Haven Homes, we believe that building a better world starts with creating better spaces, not only for our clients but also for the wider community.” It noted that the renovated clinic would cater to police officers, staff, inmates, and suspects in custody.

The statement expressed appreciation to AIG Adegoke, whose “passion for making the police environment safe, conducive, and comfortable” inspired the project. Haven Homes emphasised that “from refreshed interiors to upgraded fittings and modern finishes, every detail was completed with the same care, quality, and excellence that define our homes.”

Mrs Ilesanmi said the company was pleased to assist the police and looked forward to further collaborations. Declaring the facility open, AIG Adegoke commended Haven Homes for its generosity, adding that the support would provide a huge morale boost to Zone 2 personnel and enhance effective service delivery.
