Briefing newsmen weekend in Benin City, Okoukoni said his foundation has perfected plan to ensure qualified Edo State students enroll in the 2024/2025 examination exercise.

According to him, “It’s about the time that Okoukoni Care Foundation supports our young people for the enrolment of WAEC/NECO examinations and it has become annual event.

“We shall be supporting Edo State students residing in Edo and eligible for WAEC/NECO examination with financial support to enable them enroll for 2024/2025 examination exercise.

“The financial support is for the less privileged in our society.”

Okoukoni therefore advised eligible students to reach out to the foundation and complete the form.

Explaining the rationale behind the gesture, Okoukoni said the importance of education cannot be over-emphasized as it still remains the sure foundation of any developed nations.

“If a country is said to be developed, the educational system of that country has the credit,” he added.

The founder of Okoukoni Care Foundation noted that there are hundreds of school children that have dropped out of schools or ended up their educational pursuit half way because they have no sponsorship or their parents have no money to give them education.
