Foundation to hold Bible competition for children on October 17 nationwide

The FBO Foundation has officially announced the commencement of the highly anticipated 2024 Bible Brains Challenge.

The nationwide competition, scheduled to begin on October 17, 2024, has been open to children, teens, and young adults between the ages of nine and 25 to inspire a new generation with a deepened understanding of the Bible as well as fostering community and spiritual growth.

The competition will also feature a range of activities designed to engage participants and challenge their biblical knowledge, including Bible Questions and Answers, Recitations and Sword Drills.

Public Relations Officer of the FBO Foundation, Daniel Peters, who disclosed this, yesterday, said that the Bible Brains Challenge was designed as a transformative experience to promote not only biblical literacy but also character development, leadership skills, and a service-oriented mindset.

Also, the Convener of the Bible Brains Challenge, Fela Bank-Olemoh, said: “We believe this competition is an incredible opportunity for young people to strengthen their faith, improve biblical literacy, and form lasting bonds with fellow believers. Our vision is to inspire a generation of youth who see the Bible as their compass.”

“The primary goal of the Bible Brains Challenge is to equip young participants with a deeper understanding of the Scripture, but it also focuses on holistic development, including character building and leadership skills.

“This event will seek to bring together youths from all corners of the country, fostering a sense of community and shared spiritual growth.

“With more than ₦1 million as prizes for winners, the Bible Brains Challenge will cater for participants from age nine to 25, with rewards for top achievers and dedicated participation.
