Hawkish French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius plans to join nuclear talks between Iran and major powers in Switzerland on Saturday morning, a French foreign ministry spokesman said Thursday.

Fabius, long fearful of a soft deal leaving Iran with the possibility to get nuclear weapons, will join US Secretary of State John Kerry and his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif in Lausanne.
