Idris flags off N2.1bn road, drainage projects in Kebbi

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, has inaugurated the construction of access roads and drainage systems in the Badariya and Mopol Barracks areas of Birnin Kebbi.

The governor said the initiative, valued at over ₦2.1 billion, is part of his administration’s commitment to delivering democratic dividends and improving infrastructure across the state.

He added that his administration is determined to continue to bring meaningful development projects to the people of Kebbi State.

Idris noted at the flag-off ceremony, “The road network will not only foster unity but also improve living conditions, ease movement, and enhance the comfort of residents.”

He added that similar projects were ongoing in other parts of the state, noting that his government would ensure even development across both the state capital and local government areas.

Commissioner for Works, Abdullahi Umar Faruk Muslim, commended the governor for supporting the ministry to achieve what he described as “milestone projects.”
