NEWLY registered political party, Democratic People’s Congress (DPC) has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to increase efforts in the ongoing fight against corruption in all sectors of the economy.

The call was part of an eight-point communiqué issued at the end of the party’s inaugural National Executive Committee (NEC) held in Abuja, endorsed by its National Chairman, Rev. Olusegun Peters.

Peters, who said the emergence of the party would deepen democracy, noted however that a lot still needed to be done to curtail the magnitude of corruption taking place in the public and private sectors of the economy.
