The Member Representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency, Comrade Chinedu Ogah, on Monday said that Federal Lawmakers from the Zone have made a case to President Ahmed Tinubu following the exclusion of Southeast from the Federal Government’s N380 billion intervention under the Renewed Hope Infrastructure Development Fund.
In a chat with journalists in Abakaliki, Ogah maintained that Tinubu will not deliberately exclude the zone from the intervention because his administrators have done so much for the zone, noting that they have made their case to him.
He noted that Senators from the Southeast have not only lamented the exclusion but they have made a motion to that regard, and have written to the minister.
“I have one in my community and other ones in Izzi, and we are part of APC. They are more definitely looking to it,” Ogah said.
He commended President Bola Tinubu and Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for initiating policies that have touched the lives of the masses.
