Katsina to establish sanitation courts
KATSINA State Government says it will establish five mobile courts to prosecute violators of the monthly environmental sanitation in the state.
The Executive Secretary, State Environmental and Protection Agency, (SEPA), Alhaji Lawal Inusa, made the disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Katsina
Inusa said that the establishment of the mobile court was necessary due to the non-compliance of some people to the monthly environmental sanitation within Katsina metropolis.
He said that the mobile courts would commence operations in 2016 and would be given all the powers and logistics they require to operate within the state. He called on the citizens and health personnel to enlighten people on the importance of personal and environmental hygiene.
