Kumuyi, Obaseki canvass freedom for Nigerians
General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, William Kumuyi, has called on Nigerians to free themselves from all forms of captivity, just as Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, assured that God is about to free the country and its citizens from every form of bondage.
Kumuyi made the call, yesterday, in Benin City, Edo State, at the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), with the theme, ‘Loose Him and Let Him Go’.
The crusade was attended by Obaseki and his wife, Betsy.
Kumuyi, who charged Nigerians to free themselves, lest they get lost in captivity, said the determination for freedom is in the captive’s hands, as they yield their lives to Jesus, the Saviour of the world, who paid the price for every man’s freedom.
“You can loosen yourself from the bands of captivity by learning beyond what you know, by believing in the bruises of Christ and by strengthening yourself against the dictatorship of captors.
“Lift up yourself by the bruises of Christ, experience the amazing blessedness of the supremacy of Christ, tap from the astonishing bruises of Christ and enjoy the accomplished boundlessness of salvation in Christ,” Kumuyi said.
According to Obaseki, the little the state has will continuously be used for the benefit of the people.
“Through this crusade, God will save our land and bring prosperity in line with the theme of the crusade,” the governor said.
