The Leadership Roundtable Summit (LRS) 7.0, has emphasised the role of transformative leadership, entrepreneurship and innovation in national development.

Organised by the Global Leadership Institute, the summit brought together leaders, innovators, and change-makers from diverse industries, while providing a platform for insightful discussions, engaging workshops, and valuable networking opportunities.

Hon. Commissioner for Health, Lagos State, Prof. Akin Abayomi, the keynote speaker, gave an insightful and thought-provoking address covering a wide range of topics, from transformative leadership to innovation and entrepreneurship. Attendees were inspired by his expertise and gained valuable takeaways to apply in their own leadership journeys.

LRS Convener and Managing Director of GLI, Abayomi Adewumi, emphasised the true essence of leadership, saying, “leaders are people that can transform their environment without necessarily directing anybody.”
LRS 7.0 featured diverse panels of industry experts who engaged in lively debates on pressing issues facing leaders today. Discussions focused on addressing national challenges through entrepreneurial solutions and leveraging innovation to drive economic revival. These insightful exchanges provided attendees with practical solutions and empowered them to make a difference.

Director, GLI, Yvonne Femi Adewumi, said, “It’s incredibly inspiring to witness the growth of LRS. Starting from a humble church auditorium in Ejigbo a few years ago, we’ve come a long way to be here now and have impacted over 10,000 attendees, honored over 120 leaders, awarded over 40 people, and shifted the needle of progress in Nigeria.”

As the GLI continues its mission to empower future leaders, they stated that they plan to reach over 100,000 Nigerians & Africans in the next 3 years through the summit, masterclasses, webinars, training, and empowerment programmes.
