The General Superintendent, Deeper Life Bible Church, William Kumuyi, has advised the government to be sensitive and reduce the suffering of Nigerians, urging those in authority to be practical in the area of palliatives by making the citizens feel the effect.
He also urged Nigerians not to allow themselves to be drowned in the ocean of distress occasioned by the unfavourable situations in the country of which many people have fallen victims but to raise up their heads, float and be profitably engaged despite all odds.
Kumuyi gave the charge, yesterday, at Deeper Life International Conference Centre, Mowe, Ogun State, during the opening ceremony of the December edition of Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) with the theme: “Emmanuel,” scheduled to commence today, December 21, 2023, through to December 26, 2023 and Youth Impact fixed for Tuesday, December 26, both scheduled to be held pari-passu with December Retreat slated for December 23-25, 2023.
The cleric also tasked church leaders to help their needy members and not just focus on evangelism and other programmes of the church. The General Superintendent, who decried the gospel of same sex marriage, urged youths in the country to attend the impact programme as it would revolutionalise their lives, give them direction and new beginnings.
