Former President of the Senate and Senator representing Benue South District, David Mark, yesterday closed his defence in a petition by the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Daniel Onjeh, challenging his victory in the last election.

Mark who was personally at the tribunal to adopt his statement on oath and testify, could not, as his lead counsel, Kenneth Ikonne, suddenly announced the closure of his case to stop the petitioner from building issues on his client while in the witness box. Mark had already called 10 witnesses to prove his defence.
