Maulud: Aiyedatiwa felicitates Muslims, harps on peaceful coexistence

Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State on Monday felicitated with Muslim faithful in the state on the occasion of the Eid-el-Maulud, the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

This is contained in a statement in Akure by the governor’s Spokesperson, Mr. Ebenezer Adeniyan.

Aiyedatiwa described the special day as a moment to reflect on the lessons of tolerance, sacrifice, and peaceful coexistence with one another which are the virtues of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

He enjoined the Muslim faithful to use the celebration to pray for the sustained peace, unity and collective progress of the state.

“I implore the people of this state to keep faith with the ongoing reforms of the Federal Government aimed at improving the economy of the Nation.

“Our administration’s determination will continue to implement policies and programs that will make positive impacts on the lives of the people of Ondo State,” he said.
