MFM distributes food to 2,000 families in Akure, gives cash to PWDs

Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Ondo State Mega 1, South West 4, has provided free food items to over 2,000 families in Akure, Ondo State, as part of its Food Evangelism outreach.

Physically challenged persons also received cash gifts during the programme.
The church further awarded scholarships to 50 indigent pupils of Mountain Top Nursery and Primary School, Akure, and distributed 4,000 exercise books to pupils across the city to support their education amid rising economic hardship.

Speaking at the event, Assembly Pastor of MFM International Headquarters and Head of the Prophetic Group, Pastor Kunle Adesanya, said only Jesus Christ can provide lasting solutions to hunger and life’s challenges. He urged attendees to embrace God through Christ and seek divine intervention.

Mega Regional Overseer, Pastor Ademola Adeniyi, said the programme was part of MFM’s Corporate Social Responsibility and the Explosive Evangelism Initiative, aimed at winning souls for Christ and improving lives.

He noted that widows regularly receive food and financial support, while over 200 women, youths, and teenagers have been trained in fashion designing and empowered with free sewing machines.

Adeniyi also disclosed that the church has partnered with the Nigerian Police to enhance neighborhood security through patrols, solar-powered street lights, and CCTV installations.

Chairman of the Food Evangelism Planning Committee, Pastor Bayo Olaniran Ololajulo, said the programme followed the biblical example of Jesus feeding the multitudes, combining spiritual nourishment with physical support. A number of participants reportedly gave their lives to Christ or rededicated themselves during the outreach.

Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, saying the food would help sustain their households as they prepare for school resumption.
