Kwara pilgrims board fixes ₦8.5m fee for 2026 Hajj form

The Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced the commencement of registration and form sales for the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage, with the total cost fixed at ₦8.5 million.

The Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji AbdulSalam Abdulkadir, made this known while addressing journalists on Monday in Ilorin, the state capital.

Abdulkadir stated that the cost was set by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and covers all expenses related to the pilgrimage.

According to him, the Commission has allocated a total of 3,762 slots for Kwara State.

Abdulkadir outlined the key requirements for intending pilgrims, including the possession of a valid international passport and the completion of all documentation before the specified deadline.

He also disclosed that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has approved the initial deposit of 5Million Naira for residents of the State wishing to partake in the exercise.

Intending participants are required to balance up before 8th October, 2025, which is the deadline for payment, according to Abdulkadir
