Northern APC speakers unveil campaign logo for Tinubu/Shettima
Speakers of All Progressives Congress (APC) states in the North have unveiled a campaign logo and donated cars for the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima.
The Chairman of Northern Speakers Forum/Speaker, Kaduna State House of Assembly, Yusuf Zailani, at the unveiling in Abuja, at the weekend, said: “As speakers, we are committed more than ever to contribute our quota to whatever it will take to bring about success to our party and our flagbearers, particularly our presidential candidate.”
According to a statement by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Ibrahim Danfulani, the speaker, in his welcome address at the event, said it was expected that the logo unveiling and campaign vehicles donation will further help to strategise on the part of winning the general elections in 2023 and continue to provide dividends of democracy to the good people of Nigeria.
“As the convener, I rallied all members of the 19 states’ legislatures and APC speakers to unveil the APC presidential logo for a door-to-door campaign in every constituency in the 19 Northern states,” he disclosed.
Zailani also charged other speakers to further nudge their various members on the need to work assiduously to deliver their various constituencies for the APC in the general elections, stressing that no stone should be left unturned in the quest to achieve victory in the 2023 general elections.
“On behalf of the speakers’ forum, we wish to assure you of our unalloyed support and cooperation before, during and after the election until success is achieved. The Door-2-Door campaign vehicles will go a long way to help in campaigning at the grassroots,” he assured.
In his response, Tinubu commended his efforts in making the event a reality, promising to ensure unity, prosperity and agricultural development of the country, if elected.
