A group, Ojokoro Progressive Movement, has appealed to the Lagos State Government over the deplorable state of some roads in Ojokoro Local Council Development Area.
Mr Olaniyi Ilori, leader of the group, made the appeal in a statement on Thursday in Lagos.
Ilori said that recently, the group from across the seven wards in Ojokoro, went on an inspection tour of some bad roads in the area.
The roads are: Pipeline Road in Ward A; Amusan/Pupoosola Road and bridge in Ward B; Jibowu Road in Ward C; Jankara Temple Road in Ward D; Adegolu Fatunbi Road in Ward E; Gbadabiu Road in Ward F and Gbeleyi St. in Ward G.
“A letter and pictures of the bad roads were submitted to the governor’s office and necessary quarters.
“We appeal for urgent response from the governor within the first quarter of year 2025 projects.
“Ojokoro LCDA is one of the local government in Lagos that voted massively for APC at the last general election and we deserve more infrastructure and human development,” he said
