A fatal collision between a gas-laden tanker and a sand-filled tipper occurred on Saturday morning at the entrance of Tsafe near Dutse, Zamfara State, resulting in the death of the tanker driver and injuries to three others.

According to intelligence sources, the crash happened at exactly 10:19 a.m. Emergency responders, including the Zamfara State Fire Service, arrived swiftly, preventing a potential explosion or fire outbreak.

Firefighters worked to cool the tanker, minimizing the risk of ignition, while the injured were quickly evacuated to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
