• Inducts 8,650 Civil Servants
Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, has said that public service is critical to having a working society and private sector, maintaining that if the country’s public sector does not get it right, there is no way the private sector can get it right.
This, he said, is why civil servants must be up and doing in ensuring that the system works for the private sector to thrive. He said this at the opening ceremony of an induction programme for senior civil servants in the state at the Lagos State Public Service Staff Developmet Centre, Magodo.
Muri-Okunola underscored key areas in service which he enumerated with the acronym KSA, which stands for Knowledge, Skills and Attitude, saying that attitude occupies a prime place among the three as it determines one’s progress in service.
