Briefing newsmen, yesterday, in Calabar, Obu said: “I, your father, must remind you of God’s agenda for Nigeria; Nigeria must return to her first National Anthem, which promotes unity and downplays tribalism and sentimentalism. Nigeria must revert to Calabar as its original capital city; it must return to the 12-state. administrative structure, which has been pre-ordained by God Almighty, being a replication of the 12 tribes of Israel.”
His assertions are extracts from an address he presented to the world to mark the church’s Holy Mother’s 2022 Annual Glorification.
He said the forthcoming 2023 election would be very crucial to the world as it would not be business as usual with electioneering practices replete will malpractices, vote buying, corruption and rigging. Rather, he stressed, it would be about competence.
The Almighty Father, he stated, has already decided the fate of the election.
“One thing is certain, no corrupt politician will be close to the presidential staff of office. Only those with the fear of God, pure in heart and of humble spirit will win. Many will be taken aback by the 2023 election because something that has never happened in the history of Nigeria will happen, and it will shake the so-called powerful politicians of Nigeria. The Holy Spirit is already in charge of the election, so fear not my children, because at the end it shall be in tandem with God’s will,” he said.
At 62 years, Obu said that much is yet to be achieved by Nigeria and urged all political gladiators to understand that the forthcoming election is for the growth and betterment of the country.
“No man’s ambition is worth another man’s life. Therefore, I declare 2023 election, a peaceful election. Corrupt leaders will only waste their time in this election as the door has been shut against them,” he added.
