Sani Abdulkadir honoured with ICEN fellowship

Sani Abdulkadir has been conferred with the Professional Fellowship Doctorate (Pfd) by the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (ICEN) in collaboration with the Access Advanced College of Economics.

The prestigious conferment, held on July 26, 2025, celebrates Mr. Abdulkadir’s consistent contribution to economic development and policy discourse, particularly in areas addressing national economic growth, food sufficiency, and unemployment challenges in Nigeria.

This recognition comes alongside Mr. Abdulkadir’s participation in a high-level seminar themed “Examining the Linkage and Economic Implications of Food Insufficiency and Unemployment in an Economy: Emphasis on Nigeria.” The forum explored strategic policy directions, including land resource optimization and sustainable industrialization—critical topics shaping Nigeria’s economic landscape.

Speaking on the award, Mr. Abdulkadir expressed gratitude for the honor and reiterated his commitment to leveraging economics as a tool for national development and inclusive growth.

The Institute’s decision to confer the fellowship doctorate is a reflection of its continuous efforts to recognize excellence in economic practice, and its alignment with the motto “Education & Industry”.
