SAUDI Arabia has recalled its ambassador in Stockholm, the Swedish foreign ministry has said, amid a diplomatic row over Sweden cutting military ties.
SAUDI Arabia has recalled its ambassador in Stockholm, the Swedish foreign ministry has said, amid a diplomatic row over Sweden cutting military ties.
“We were informed yesterday (Tuesday) that Saudi Arabia had called back its ambassador,” said Swedish foreign ministry spokeswoman Veronica Nordlund.
On Wednesday, Sweden said it would cancel a defence co-operation agreement.
