Senator Haruna Manu, representing Taraba Central Senatorial District, has initiated a large-scale ICT training programme for students across his constituency. Building on his earlier efforts, which benefited over 1,000 students with starter packs, this new initiative aims to equip participants with vital digital skills and tools to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world.
The ongoing programme, organised in collaboration with the Centre for National Productivity, began on Wednesday and is scheduled to conclude on Thursday. At the end of the training, participants will receive starter packs, including laptops and essential gadgets, to support their continued development. The programme is being held across five local government areas: Gassol, Sardauna, Bali, Kurmi, and Gashaka.

“This is not the first initiative by our iconic leader. In the past, he organised similar programmes where over 3,000 students benefited. This programme will sharpen the skills of all participants, preparing them for the new world order of internet-based opportunities,” Dogari said. He urged attendees to take their lectures seriously, highlighting the transformational impact the training could have on their futures.
