Social investment programme, NIMC to partner on harmonized data base of beneficiaries

National Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer, (CEO), of the National Social Investment Programme Agency, (NSIPA), Hajiya Halima Shehu, has said that the agency is set to partner with the National Identity Management Commission, (NIMC), to harmonize and integrate data base of beneficiaries of the agency’s intervention.
She made known while visiting the Director General and Chief Executive Officer, (CEO), NIMC, Engr. Abisoye Coker-Odusote, weekend in Abuja.
Shehu said her visit was to foster dialogue and explore potential areas of collaboration between NSIPA and NIMC for accountability in the distribution of funds leveraging the rich national database compiled by NIMC and to streamline as well as enhance the implementation of NSIPA’s intervention programs.
“My purpose for this meeting amongst other things is to foster strategic collaborative efforts between NSIPA and NIMC in harnessing data-driven methodologies to ensure the effective delivery of social intervention programs.
“I am certain that this collaboration will strengthen NSIPA’s commitment to leveraging innovative partnerships and resources to create impactful initiatives that uplift communities and individuals Nationwide” she said in a statement.
She noted that the NSIPA’s interventions represent the face of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and a tool to eradicate poverty in Nigeria.
On his part, Engr. Coker-Odusote assures of f NIMC’s readiness to work with NSIPA in the area of utilizing the Commission’s database to facilitate efficient, targeted, precise identification, and better coverage of beneficiaries across various socio-economic segments.
