Social media not pulpit, church, says Muoka
Urges Christians to ignore criticisms, do exploits
The General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries Worldwide, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, yesterday, at the Chosen Headquarters in Ijesha, Lagos, said that social media is not a pulpit or church, but a place where people make their money.
Muoka, who spoke on the theme, “Go up and take over,” urged members of the church not to be distracted by the criticism on social media, saying that the church would continue to preach the truth.
The cleric also admonished members of the church to be strong and do exploits, move forward and possess their possessions.
“I want to let you know that a few weeks ago, Chosen was trending and they think they were doing us harm. They do not know that they are advertising us and when I came on board, I said we should thank God for them and pray for them.”
“You can’t do anything against the Chosen because all things work together for good… You should not listen to what they are saying in social media because social media is not a pulpit and church, but a place where they are making their money. For us, we must continue to tell the truth. We must be strong and do exploits. We must move forward and possess our possession,” Muoka stated.
The cleric, therefore, urged Christians to do away with fear, the reason many have remained in their condition for so long without a solution to their problems.
He, however, advised them to go up to a higher level and take over what God has given to them.
