The State House Ministerial SERVICOM Unit has established a help desk to assist staff, visitors and contractors on enquiries and information on payments, correspondence, medical services and other public service issues.

A statement by Deputy Director of Information, Attah Esa, yesterday said the desk would be manned by well-trained staff who will be responsible for the effective handling of enquires from members of the public.

It said in the interim, the help desk will handle enquiries from six service areas of the State House namely: Payments, file tracking and correspondence, medical services, Information and communication (ICT) services, as well as maintenance and stores.

Speaking at the launch of the help desk and the revised SERVICOM Charter, Permanent Secretary, State House, Jalal Arabi, said the desk would accelerate the implementation of the Executive Order 001– Ease of Doing Business and improve service delivery at the State House.

“The establishment of the help desk comes in the wake of renewed vigour of the administration to promote excellence in government business and services. “The State House is keen on providing quality and timely services in a transparent, efficient manner for the benefit of all Nigerians and foreigners alike,” he added.
