The Supreme Court has scheduled a hearing for Monday, October 23 in the appeal by Atiku Abubakar, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), challenging the election of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu in the last presidential election.

Atiku is challenging the September 6 judgment of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC), which dismissed his petition against the victory of Tinubu.

The Guardian learnt that the apex court had sent out a hearing notice to the affected parties.
