The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has called on the Muslim faithful in Nigeria to reflect on the core values of Eid-el-Kabir – sacrifice, compassion, and generosity – as they celebrate.
In her Sallah message, the First Lady emphasised the importance of showing love and kindness to others, particularly the vulnerable and less privileged.
“This is a time of deep reflection on the values of sacrifice, obedience, compassion, and faith. I urge you to remember your neighbours and extend a hand of love and support,” she said.
Senator Tinubu also encouraged Nigerians to pray for the nation’s peace, stability, and continued progress, noting that unity and shared humanity are essential to national development.
