The United Capital Infrastructure Fund (UCIF), managed by United Capital Plc, has announced a total dividend distribution of N1.98 billion to its unitholders for the year ended 2024.

The distribution was made in two tranches: an interim dividend of N769 million for the first half of the year, followed by a final distribution of N1.21 billion for the second half.

The payments, which include both principal and interest, demonstrate the Fund’s commitment to delivering value to its investors.

UCIF Chief Investment Officer and Fund Manager, UcheNna Mkparu, commented, “UCIF’s performance reflects our commitment to good governance and adherence to our investment policy. We are dedicated to providing strong returns while supporting growth in key economic sectors. We will continue to prioritize high-impact, profitable investments that promote sustainable development in Nigeria and Africa.”

The Fund reported a gross return of 23.08% for 2024, with revenue increasing by 150% to N1.9 billion, compared to N791 million in 2023.

This growth highlights the Fund’s profitability and its ability to generate attractive returns for investors through infrastructure investments in strategic sectors.

UCIF focuses its investments on critical sectors such as recycling, power, renewable energy, agriculture, and telecoms, contributing to sustainable development across Nigeria and Africa.

UCIF is a SEC-licensed, N150 billion closed-ended infrastructure fund that invests in infrastructure projects across Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa. The Fund targets key sectors, including agribusiness, industrial recycling, renewable energy, gas infrastructure, gas-to-power, healthcare, and manufacturing. UCIF aims to deliver competitive returns to investors while supporting projects crucial for economic growth, adhering to global best practices in sustainability and governance.
