Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has charged the Enugu State Independent Electoral Commission (ENSIEC) to conduct credible, elections across the 17 councils in the state on February 29.
While swearing in four new ENSIEC commissioners in the state, following their nomination and confirmation by the House of Assembly, the governor stated that the call for credible elections was consistent with his administration’s tradition of transparency, equity and fairness.
The four electoral commissioners are Solomon Ude, Mrs. Anthonia Ogbu, Mrs. Theresa Egbo and Mrs. Bernadine Ezugwu.
The governor, who also swore in Chris Ezugwu as his Special Adviser, congratulated them for their new appointments, wishing them God’s guidance in the discharge of their duties.
