Wanted: A Hungry And Thirsty Soul For Continuous Blessings

Isaiah 44:3 “For I WILL POUR WATER UPON HIM THAT IS THIRSTY, and FLOODS upon the dry ground: I will pour my Spirit upon thy seed, and my Blessing upon thine offspring” Matthew 5:6 “Blessed are they which DO HUNGER AND THIRST after righteousness: for THEY SHALL BE FILLED”.
IT is quite clear from God’s Word that the overwhelming FREE BLESSINGS OF GOD are available ONLY for those who are HUNGRY AND THIRSTY. God gives an OPEN invitation to EVERYONE who is THIRSTY to engage in spending Supernatural Currency. It is possible for you to actually purchase something valuable in life without human savings or cash. God is offering something that is GREATER THAN MONEY on the powerful platform of your thirst and hunger.

Isaiah 55:1 “Ho, EVERY ONE THAT THIRSTETH, come ye to the waters, and HE THAT HATH NO MONEY; come ye, BUY, and eat; yea, come, BUY wine and milk WITHOUT MONEY and without price”. Passion is what you thirst for. Pursuit is the evidence of desire. What you vigorously pursue will become your acquisition, as your pursuit reveals your PASSION.

It is interesting to know that God Almighty makes available valuable things of life on the platform of thirst and hunger. What you do not thirst for, you do not probably need. Complacency is the enemy of fervency. In the journey into excellence, there is no terminus. Excellence is ongoing. There is no sense of arrival in excellence. Excellence is constantly improving, advancing and setting high standards. God’s Word is against COMPLACENCY – a sense of arrival. Amos 6:1 “WOE to them THAT ARE AT EASE IN ZION. God has promised to pour His Water of blessings on those who are THIRSTY.

Revelation 21:6 “And He said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and The End. I will give UNTO HIM THAT IS ATHIRST of the FOUNTAIN OF THE WATER OF LIFE FREELY”. Whatever we have acquired in times past cannot be compared with what God still wants to give to us NOW. You must empty yourself for God to fill you up. If you are too full, you cannot receive. Be empty so you can receive. What you do not have is a function of your complacency because He that seeketh, findeth. Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you, For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that SEEKETH FINDETH; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened”.

God wants to do more in our lives. He wants to move us from Glory to Glory, one level of Blessing to higher dimension of His Grace and Provision. He that thirsteth, receiveth. Elisha was not satisfied with little. He thirsteth for a double portion and he got it. David wanted more of God and he said that as the deer pants after water, so his soul pants after the LORD GOD. Psalm 42:1-2 “As the heart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. MY SOUL THIRSTETH FOR GOD, FOR THE LIVING GOD: when shall I come and appear before God?” Apostle Paul also declared his thirst after God.

Philippians 3:9-10 “AND BE FOUND IN HIM, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness, which is of God by faith: THAT I MAY KNOW HIM, and the power of His Resurrection”.

You must desire more. We are commanded to seek the LORD continually and His Strength. 1 Chronicles 16:11 “Seek the LORD and His Strength, seek His Face continually”. Friend, it is time to pursue God and thirst after Him, then ALL THESE THINGS shall be ADDED unto you (Matthew 6:33).

PRAYER: Father God through Your SOVEREIGN HOLY SPIRIT, I thirst after You. I choose to THIRST after You. I am thirsty and hungry. Father, Pour Your Blessings on me. I expose my life to You. I make JESUS the LORD of my life. Out of my belly shall flow rivers of Living Water because I pursue JESUS daily. I belong to JESUS forever.
