HE is one of the firebrand insurance practitioners in the country, with his tentacles spread across the globes. It is a profession that has brought him fame and fortune. Just as he is loyal to his career, he is also a dependable ally of the association.

So, on Thursday, February 5, all roads led to Insurance Brokers House in Yaba, Lagos, when the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers hosted a luncheon to celebrate one of their own, Dr. Ahmed Salawudeen, who sits atop Standard Insurance Group.  He recently turned 70.

Led by the Council’s president, Mr. Ayodapo Soderu, speakers after speakers paid glowing tributes to Salawudeen, who has become a force to reckon with in terms of integrity, trust, transparency and consistency in his ethical practice.

After the beautiful eulogy, invited guests were treated to sumptuous meals, while drinks also flowed in abundance.
