Chairman of Nafada Local Council in Gombe State, Musa Abubakar (a.k.a. Babawuro), has passed on. He died yesterday in an auto crash on Kano road.

The Governor, Muhammad Yahaya, described Babawuro’s death as sad, devastating and a blow too many.

A statement by the governor’s Director General (Press Affairs), Ismaila Missili, described the demise as deeply painful and a huge loss, not only to his immediate family, but the entire state and the nation.

It described the deceased as a man of peace, committed politician and experienced public servant, who contributed immensely to the development of his immediate community, local council and the state.

The governor prayed God to forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds.
