The Deaf Eagles of Nigeria will take on the Niger Republic tomorrow, in the first semifinal of the ongoing 13th West Africa Deaf Football tournament, which is being held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
The Deaf Football Tournament is one of the events at the ongoing third West Africa Deaf Athletics Championship.
Defending champions, who have won the trophy five previous times, the Deaf Eagles topped Group A with six points from two matches with victories over Cote d’Ivoire (3-0) and a 3-2 defeat of The Gambia in their second game.
The Gambia finished as Group A’s runners-up.
Tomorrow’s match comes up at 2.00 p.m., while the second semifinal game between Group B winners, Liberia and The Gambia, holds immediately after the first match.
