First fruit offering is not tithe (4)

Too many people are doing things half-hearted. God wants you to do “whatever” you’re doing with all your heart, with all your soul and with all that you have. When you do it with everything you have, He will promote you. God promotes those obedient to His words.
David Green was 13 years old when he started working. He went up the ranks. Why? Because he did everything he could do excellently to God. For this, God promoted him into an assignment where his provision was guaranteed.

Never Discuss Your Problems With Someone Incapable of Solving Them

Mr. Green also has a very powerful philosophy about why you should not discuss your problems with people incapable of solving them. “Talk magnifies everything. When you talk about your problems to others, you perpetuate the memory of them. It positions you as a victim and delays any efforts for recovery,” he said.

To avoid work place gossip and wasted time, your problems or issues should always be directed to the person you have an issue with – the person who can resolve it. Don’t go around with people who can’t.
Giving Is The Only Proof That You Have Conquered Greed

Mr. Green taught me a new vision of how to conquer greed. He started by sharing with me Psalm 24:1 “And the earth is the Lord’s and everything in it.” I asked him how he walks this out. The answer touched my heart and blew me away. Mr. Green has totally signed his company to God. When the company sells, 90 per cent of it goes to the foundation for ministries, 10 per cent goes to the health and education of his children, grandchildren. He reversed the tithe! I asked him if his children get upset or if he gets pushback. He said: “The tree is God’s, the children must earn the fruit.” Wow, I like that a lot!

What you can walk away from, you have mastered. Tithing is the proof that you have mastered greed. Erratic tithing creates erratic harvest. “The tithe is an act of faith and seed of obedience that creates momentum” David said.

The Only Reason Men Or Women Fail Is Because Of Broken Focus

Mr. Green is less focused. His mission is to make money, lots of it. Why? So, he can continue to build God’s Kingdom in major ways. He is at peace with his calling and he is called to multiply his talents.
So, what is focus? It is basically the elimination of potions that become distractions. If you can’t maintain your focus on a goal or habit, you will most likely not achieve that goal or create that habit. Focus creates consistency in your life. The Bible says: “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways,” James 1:8.

The Person Of Jesus Creates Peace. The Principles Of Jesus Create Prosperity

Mr. Green has unique perspectives that most people don’t think about. I remember reading a book called, ‘Good To Great,’ and he said, “Mitch, that book should be called, ‘Good to Better’ because the thing truly great is that which is done for eternity and has eternal consequences. Great is giving that blesses people with eternal benefit. All giving must have God in it to be Great.” He said: “First, what is most important is Jesus and His word. Second, following Jesus’ principles in order to live an abundant and prosperous life, this is the way to do business God’s way.”
Money Does Not Change You; It Magnifies What You Already Are

Asking Mr. Green, “does money change people?” His answer: “The Selfish becomes more selfish and the generous becomes more generous with money. The kind becomes kinder and the cruel becomes crueller. The happy becomes happier and the miserable becomes more miserable. Money can be your friend or your foe. Money is a tool. If used wisely, it can help you live a better life. If you don’t know how to use is, it can destroy you. Money can be a good servant or a terrible master. The choice really is in your hands.”

A Call Personally to You

Thankfully, God raises up kingdom builders to fund the gospel. We know the world is full of the self-indulged and self-centered rich who hoard wealth. It is time we celebrate and give the vision to those who are our own that are called to build God’s Kingdom through giving.
Let’s pray for God to raise army of Kingdom builders like David Green to do extraordinary things for God. God is looking for those He can employ as His bankers.
