God created the world and saw that it was “good.” However, death and sin entered the world when Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s word, doubting his love for them. By their action of disobedience, the world that God created “good” became “broken,” tainted by that original sin.

We can see the brokenness all around us and do not have to look farther than the latest news story. The mission of the church on earth is to shine as light in a broken world and help the world heal from its brokenness. Christians are to serve as God’s light in this dark world. We are to model the right values so that our world can be healed from corruption and evil.

The world is filled with hatred and the hatred is palpable, but we are to radiate God’s love and mercy to heal our broken world. In a world with so many societal expectations, burnout and pressures, it is easy for us to feel inadequate, unworthy or unloved. However, amid the noise and chaos of life, there exists a love that transcends all barriers and surpasses our human understanding – God’s love.

As we journey through the challenges of life, it is important to ground ourselves in the steadfast truth of God’s love. Often times, we are swept away by life’s uncertainties, forgetting to rely on this anchor, but then God gently reminds us through His word that He Has never left our side.
Regardless of our imperfections, insecurities or past mistakes, God’s love for us remains constant and gives us a rock to stand on. It is a love that has no comparison to any other love out there, a love that knows no bounds and is unconditional and limitless. It is always there whenever we need it.

God’s love is always accessible at all hours of the day. In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus shares a beautiful promise to all who are feeling weary and burdened. He said: “Come to me, all you who are broken, weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” In these words, we find encouragement and reassurance that God’s love is what will bring rest and renewal to our weary hearts.

If you are not confident about anything else, be confident that God loves you. You are cherished, valued and deeply loved by your Creator. In moments of doubt or insecurity, it is essential to turn to God’s word for reassurance and encouragement. The Bible is filled with promises of God’s love for us. Jeremiah 31:3 is a powerful reminder that God’s love is enduring and unchanging. God said:“I have loved you with an everlasting love.” Romans 8:37-39 affirms that nothing can separate us from the love of God, empowering us to live boldly and confidently in His love. God’s love empowers us to embrace our unique identities and walk confidently in our purpose. We are called to live boldly and authentically, knowing that we are beloved daughters of the King no matter what anyone thinks of us.

Our worth and value are not determined by society’s standards, but by the immeasurable love of our Heavenly Father.
